Wow, it felt like summer this morning at Anhinga Trail. As the fog burned off it was a shock to see just a handful of Black Vultures. Have they already started to disperse?
The only birds of note were actually not at Anhinga Trail but in the small hardwood hammock at the end of the Long Pine Key day-use area. Among hundreds of Yellow-rumped Warblers were a Blue-headed Vireo and a Hermit Thrush (a bird hard to find again this winter). Hope everyone has a great weekend!
