I had an enjoyable visit at Miami-Dade College Environmental Center this morning. Nine warbler species were seen:
WILSON'S WARBLER (has been wintering at the center the last two months--a beautiful male)
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Black-throated Blue
Northern Paurula
Ovenbird
Prairie
Black-and-White
Pine
Common Yellowthroat
Other birds were: Rose-breasted Grosbeak(female), Screech-Owl (red colored in small owl box), Blue-gray Gnatcatcher,Ruby-throated Hummingbird(heard), Great-blue Heron, D.C. Cormorant,American Kestrel, Ringed-necked Ducks,Cooper's Hawk,Grackle species,N. Cardinal,Blue Jay,Fish Crow, G. Catbird, Turkey Vulture,Purple Martin, N. Mockingbird
