Hey birders,
David S. and I biked 6 miles south of Gate 15 this morning. Nothing out of the ordinary but the LEAST BITTERNS were calling along with the KING RAILS in our 1st mile. 5 SNAIL KITES entertained us just past the "mound". The only ducks seen from the road were 3 RING-NECKED. We were also thrilled to watch two USGS guys use telemetry to track their PYTHONS!! One 11' female was giving them a hard time to track but they finally found her after they got into the water - too cool!!!!!!
