What a week. I was swamped with tests and a lot of homework. However, everything was evened out with the great birdlife.
All these have been seen in the last few days, even though I have not been able to bird. I was very excited about tomorrows bird walk to Matheson Hammock, because I JUST got new bins and a nice new digital camera for my birthday, which is tomorrow.

Osprey
Broad-winged Hawk- 1 juvenile today
Merlin- 2 today, and 3 in the last week
Common Nighthawk- ~40 on Sunday, and 1 today
Barn Swallow
Northern Rough-winged Swallow ~25-30
Eastern Kingbird
Gray Kingbird
Red-eyed Vireo
Prairie Warbler
Cape May Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Northern Waterthrush
Worm-eating Warbler
American Redstart
Spot-breasted Oriole- 13 in my yard at one time! All where juveniles, and all are roosting in my neighbor's Eureka Palms right now! I have never seen that many SBORs at one time and one even in one day.
