Went looking for the plovers & gulls that Brian Hope posted about last week. Got to see the three different plovers: semipalmated, wilsons, and piping. And the Lesser Black-backed Gulls were there, not 200 but still quite a few. Also present were Ring-billed Gulls, Herring Gulls, Laughing Gulls (some in full breeding plumage), Western Sandpipers (I think), Sanderlings, Ruddy Turnstones, and Royal Terns. Manatees were swimming very close to shore with a baby which was great to see as well. Great beach day!! =]
