I found the bird this afternoon, but in a dry area in the woods across from the Pinelands lookout. Also found some brilliantly colored N. Parulas, too ;)
Truthfully, I would never have called this anything but a Great Crested - but I am not an expert and would not have thought twice. Has anyone positively ID'd the bird as a Brown-crested?
