Howdy,
Thanks for the great board.
Rafael's overseas drawing a Field guide for the Russian caucuses so I slugged it out without him. I hit the Cape first, I didn't make it to Sandy Key and I missed the good tide at Snake Bight (and the Marbled Godwit flocks).
Some highlights from the Lake Ingrahm/Cape Sable mudflats:
52 Blue-winged Teal
8 American Avocet
12 Wilson's Plover
21 Whimbrel
1 Long-billed Curlew
66 Red Knots
1 White-rumped Sandpiper
1 Pectoral Sandpiper (I've never seen one in there)
708 Snowy Egret (some of these were in Snake Bight)
111 Roseate Spoonbill (some from Snake Bight)
65 Greater Flamingo(Snake Bight) Damn, I always miss the Yucatan tag.
