Fourteen great participants joined the TAS Bird Walk in A.D. Barnes Park this morning. Good weather has allowed many migrants to leave our area, but we gathered 48 species throughout the park, including 10 warbler species.

Birds of interest: Pied-billed Grebe, Cooper's Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, White-Crowned Pigeon, White-winged Dove, Chuck-will's-widow, Ruby-throated Hummingbird (presumed), Eastern and Gray Kingbird, Red-eyed Vireo, Tufted Titmouse (Thanks, Larry!), Brown Thrasher, Summer Tanager, Spot-breasted and Baltimore Orioles.

Warblers: Northern Parula, Black-throated Blue, Blackburnian, Yellow-throated, Prairie, Black-and-white, American Redstart, Worm-eating, Ovenbird and Common Yellowthroat.

Steve Siegel saw a Veery along the dirt path and later videotaped what appears to be an Eastern Wood-Pewee.

Many thanks to all the birders who came by this morning.
