Late this morning there were two Red-necked Phalaropes swimming close to shore along
Hollywood North Beach about a quarter mile north of Sheridan Street. They looked like
fall adults and were just beyond the breaking waves along the beach, they were being
carried north with the current towards Dania Beach.
