Rufous Hummingbird....A new yard bird!

Yesterday morning around 7AM we had a Rufous Hummingbird feeding in the Firespike in our backyard. It was a beautiful adult male with rufous on the sides, back and tail. It returned briefly a few hours later. We also have at least 4, possibly 5 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds (immature male and female)and a wintering Black-throated Blue and Northern Parula that like to feed in the Pavonia. Now, if only a Western Spindalis would show up one day.....
