My wife, son and I went to go look for the reported Neotropic Cormorant. We arrived near noon but could not find the bird. Hunger drove us off to eat lunch, we got back to the location about 1:30 but the bird was not around. We were almost ready to leave when other birders came and we looked at other locations with cormorants. Just after looking at other birds my wife Christine called my phone and said that I have to look at a bird that just flew in. She was pretty sure that she had the bird! We all walked quickly back to the original location and there was the bird! It feed a young cormorant near by and stayed less than five minutes before departing south.
I have attached a picture of the adult bird, I will post a second picture with the young bird that the adult feed.
