Brian,

You had two swainsons warblers at Homeless Hammock! Were they in the same viewing? That would make four in two days. Not bad.

: After discussing the Willow Flycatcher by phone with Larry Manfredi, and looking again at John Boyd's photo, I'm going to have to agree with Larry and Rock Jetty. The primary projection is much too long for an Empid. The bird I saw this morning, and that John photographed yesterday is an Eastern Wood-Pewee. The "whit" call I heard, which Pewees apparently make in the fall, made me forget to look at that most-important field mark. Back to 402!
:
: I went back to Barnes this afternoon, and birded from 4:30-7:00 PM. Didn't see the Wood-Pewee. The most unexpected sighting was the juvenile Tufted Titmouse that was seen and photographed by Larry earlier this afternoon, and also seen by Jill Rosenfield and Mickey Wheeler. I saw it near the rehabilitation center just as I was leaving.
:
: Other birds seen this afternoon:
: White-crowned Pigeon
: Yellow-chevroned Parakeet
: Great-crested Flycatcher
: Red-eyed Vireo
: Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher
: Northern Parula
: Black-throated Blue Warbler
: Yellow-throated Warbler
: Prairie Warbler
: Black-and-white Warbler
: American Redstart
: Worm-eating Warbler
: Swainson's Warbler (2, in "Homeless Hammock")
: Ovenbird
: Northern Waterthrush
: Summer Tanager
: Spot-breasted Oriole
