The Great Cormorant was present on the rock jetty behind the Cape Florida lighthouse at 10:30 a.m. today. It was not visible from the usual vantage point behind the lighthouse, however. If you don't see the GRCO at first from the lighthouse, try checking from the beach side or try climbing the lighthouse if it is open. Apparently the GRCO sometimes perches on the rocks at the very end of the jetty, and you may be screened from certain angles.
