Good news and bad news: The good news is that the La Sagra's is still around. The bad news is that the La Sagra's is all around the west side of the park. RFI's for the bird continue, so this Google Earth map may help birders visualize sightings locations.

Today it associated with 3 Great Crested Flycatchers, including a very pale bird. None of the Myiarchus flycatchers vocalized while together.

Orange pins 1,2 and 3 are locations today (1/19/12) from 9-10:20 AM. Jim Sigsbee observed the bird at #1, I had it at #2 a short while later and we both heard it (I later saw it) at #3. The loose association of birds that Jim had early, was the same combination of Myiarchus flycatchers as 20 minutes later.

Green pins indicate multiple sightings in those general areas.

Blue pins indicate heard only locations.

Pink pins indicate sightings in restricted areas, with no public access.

This bird needs a radio collar!
