Here are some yard birds that are still around at my place. The Eastern Screech Owl was gone for 2 weeks and then returned, and is now visible every morning. If she mates with a grey-phase owl, lays eggs and the young hatch out, will they be red phase or grey? Is grey dominate? This is the first time I've seen a red-phase Screech Owl.
