Gary and I had a beautiful day in the Everglades. We also ran into Audrey who had a couple of friends with her. It was a great combination: good friends, good birding and good weather!

Some of the highlights of the day are as follows:
Coastal Prairie Trail - 2 Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrows
Peregrine Falcon (perched)

Eco Pond - The following warblers in the trees to the left of the entrance to the pond: Yellow, Cape May, Prairie, Yellow-throated, Yellow-rumped, Palm, Black and White, Common Yellow-throat

West Lake - Ring-necked Ducks, Lesser Scaup, (a multitude of Coots)

Aerojet & 9336 - Ash-throated Flycatcher

One of the Vermillion Flycatchers was seen in its usual area on the fence by the water structure, plus a Brown-crested Flycatcher in one of the large trees further down the canal.

Lucky Hammock - Lesser Nighthawks -at least 7, around 6:10 p.m., flying from the west across the field behind the hammock
