On Monday, I had a FOY Worm-eating Warbler, 3 Yellow-throated Warblers, an American Redstart, and a few Praries in Morningside Park. The Worm-eating was feeding high in a fruiting ficus tree with a Yellow-throated Warler. I managed to climb
25-30 feet up the huge tree to get better looks of the Worm-eating, because I did not have any bins with me (since I visited Morningside right after school). Once high up the tree, the two birds payed little attention to me, and would feed at eye-level or just above me in the canopy.
Most of the time, however, the Worm-eating sat in one spot and appeared to be sleeping. I guess that's what most birds do during mid-day when they seem to disappear. Any who, my Florida year list is now at 211 thanks to the Palm Beach County trip and that Worm-eating.
