I birded Key Largo yesterday for about an hour and a half. The hammock areas were really slow with very few birds which is pretty typical at this time of year. On the way out along Card Sound road, the second bride east of the toll bridge had no less than 38-Horned Grebes on the north side of the road. I have never seen so many this season, they are every where it seems!
