Amazing indeed - I've never seen one attempt a grebe before. I've seen them go after small baby birds, snakes, fish, turtles - but that looks to be a sizeable grebe. Do you know if it killed the grebe to eat it, or if it happened upon the dead grebe and decided to take it?
I did catch one with a small turtle at Green Cay before:
