Today (1/10) I found the La Sagra's Flycatcher at 9:25 AM at the south end of the Nature Trail, just before the trail turns east. It was ~70 yards east of the trail and called 4-5 times. After a few minutes it flew NE.

Ovenbirds and a White-eyed Vireo are now singing whisper songs and 2 male Black-and-white Warblers were 15 feet apart and counter-singing in full song. A few cardinals and ground-doves started singing last week.

The Great Cormorant was on the lighthouse jetty at 9:40 AM and a Common Loon was just off the jetty point.
