An all-yellow individual that flew up into a tree near the nature center, with a small flock of Redstarts, Black-and-white Warblers, and Red-eyed Vireos. Other highlights were Downy Woodpecker and small flocks of juvenile Spot-breasted Orioles and of Red-winged Blackbirds. One of the male blackbirds was missing its tail feathers, like so many of the molting male Boat-tailed Grackles these days. They look so odd, but they don't seem to be affected.

Good birding, Susan
