While on the way to dropping off a friend at the Sheraton Bal Harbour today I saw a light morph Short-tailed Hawk at N.E 125th St. and N.E. 8th Avenue. Coming back I caught the Broad Causeway bridge in the up position between Bal Harbour and North Miami and saw a Great Black-backed Gull in the water on the north side of the bridge and a Magnificent Frigatebird flying overhead. Two new year-birds. Life is good..........
