Yes, the South Florida I grew up in has been paved. Used to camp in Coco Plum, learned to shoot west of 117th on Coral Way, camped in Whispering Pines. So very much has been lost to us all; wildlife is only a symbol and barometer of all that has gone away in my home. I wonder how long we'll have what remains!
