I almost always go between 12:30pm and 5:30pm...I have surprisingly good luck with afternoons, despite a lot of folks not liking to go at those times of day. And the pre-dusk is always fun especially at Wako, with all the birds coming back to roost for the night - they number in the high hundreds to thousands. On my gallery for those parks that I've linked below, the 40 photos on the first page are all from this weekend (that gallery goes back to October).
