The white crown pigeons might be from the area. Check if you live around a park or wood areas. Ernie and I see them almost everyday at Deering Estate and we're just a few minutes from Killian. Ernie has also seen them at his house near Deering. He thinks that development of home sites in hammock areas along Old Cutler Road may be dispersing them into neighborhood environments.
