I can t wait for the August 28, field trip. I m really excited too.
Today s birding at the estate was great. Ernie and I got out pretty early at around 8:35 am and returned at around 11:50 am. We didn t have to look really hard to see all these birds. We are trying to break a record, of how many species of birds we can see on one day. The record today is about 39 bird species. We were pretty close today, tomorrow I hope. It was pretty hot, buggy and a cool day for birding. We re doing it tomorrow too, but this time we are going into the hammock first. I will update everyone tomorrow.
Good birding to everyone and also good luck.
