Gary and I saw the Great Cormorant on the jetty behind the lighthouse at 2:45 p.m. As we walked along the seawall that runs next to the bike path we saw a Common Loon around 3:15 p.m. swimming a few yards out from the seawall heading east. Both a very nice treat for the first day of the year! (Unfortunately the La Sagra's was a no show - I guess we'll have to "wander" around with Robin some time!)
