It's that time of year again and I have upgraded the BirdADay.net website. So if you want to Register for 2012 and join people from all across the country and see how many days in a row you can see a different species. This is the time. You will likely see many more birds than you would if you didn't have a reason to be looking every day. All you have to do is go to the website and setup your account. I've tried to make it easy for everyone.
Anyway there are some good birds around to start of the year with, so it is a good year to try. Great Cormorant will hopefully be my first bird of the year. Then Western Tanager and other wintering birds like the Wilson's warblers in the area.
