Had the distinct pleasure of watching Joy "jump for joy" after seeing her life Great Cormorant on the jetty behind the lighthouse and earlier seeing her life Western Tanager at Matheson Hammock - proof that birding can be really fun in our sub-tropical paradise. I spotted the trunk-legged Cormorant minutes later, drying it's wings after feeding on a large fish witnessed by Joy and friend minutes earlier.
Life is good....................... I celebrated my life county-bird, year-bird and beer-bird, along with Toe's life, King Eider, seen in Iceland, by hoisting a tasty Lion Stout from Sri Lanka.
