The South Florida Water Management District has developed an ambitious schedule of tours to Stormwater Treatment Area 5, in Hendrey County, and Stormwater Treatment Area 1W, in Palm Beach County. I have volunteered to be the contact person for birders who wish to visit these areas as part of an organized SFWMD tour. Contact me by phone (305)388-1544, or preferably by e-mail (tas007@tropicalaudubon.org, or the e-mail address above)if you would like to make reservations for any of the dates below, and I'll provide for you the meeting place and time. Keep in mind that birders can only enter these STAs as part of an organized SFWMD tour.
