My portion of the CBC with a great team( Russ titus, Kathy moch, Sue kern) counted 91 species
Highlights: Horned Grebe-9 ( Emerald Lske Oakland Park), lesser black backed gull-225 ( Emerald Lake), American Bittern-1 (City Furnature Pond at firestation- Tamarac),Orange Crowned Warbler-9 ( high count),Magnolia Warbler-2, Summer Tanager-1 ( Woodmill Dog Park, Tamarac.
Screech Owl-4 ( high count)
Red crowned Parrots-55 (flew over Westin hotel complex
The Hooded Warbler could not be located at Westin Hotel area.
Other parts of the count had a Whip-poor-will and Shoveller
