Short-tailed hawk perched

Way out in the far west of Miami-Dade, I found a perched light morph Short-tailed Hawk. It was eating a bird, when I got binoculars on it I saw that it was a young chicken. Perhaps it is a chicken hawk? I would have gotten more photos if the pickup truck and car that appeared from nowhere, stopped behind me!

The C-357 sparrow fields have lots of Northern Harriers, this means that it probably has a couple of Short-eared Owls. If someone were to check at dusk or dawn, one may find a Short-eared Owl here.
