A good place to see the Whooping Cranes is south of Kissimmee on Canoe Creek Road (Florida road 523, I think) about 1 mile north of the turn off to Joe Overstreet Road. If not at the cattle ranch at that point, turn west on Joe Overstreet Road and follow it to Lake Kissimmee. The W.C. can be seen anywhere on Joe Overstreet Road. I have also seen them just to the south at Lake Jackson
