Today I had the opportunity to see Greater Flamingos at the end of Snake
Bight Trail. I also saw both morphs of Short-tailed Hawk, one in
Flamingo and one in Homestead. Later in the day I drove up to Spanish
River Park in Boca Raton and found David Simpson's Western Spindalis.
It was just passed the entrance booth near a street light on the right
side of the road. It was feeding in some Brazilian Pepper trees. There
was also a Summer Tanager that was feeding near the Western Spindalis.
