On Sat. Dec 3 we found two Horned Grebes at Wellington Environmental Preserve. Address: 3491 Flying Cow Rd., Wellington.
There are two parking lots, #1(north) and #2(south). At #1 there is an information booth and bathrooms. Facing west in parking lot #1,the grebes were about 100' from there in the water on the right. This seems to be the season for Horned Grebes!
