Perhaps 69 species of parrot recorded in the 'wild' in S. Florida (which includes single escaped birds), but I highly doubt we have anywhere near that number in terms of actual breeding populations. None of the Australasian and African species have managed to lay a toe-hold in S. Florida, despite Australian parrots being very common in the pet trade.
From the data collected and from what I have seen, I think parrot diversity is more on the order of 15 to 20 species, with 20 being extremely generous and 15 being more realistic.
