A parrot bird board member posted that she saw a pair of blue and yellow macaws flying and squaking at 11:30 at night a few blocks from S. Miami Hospital. Obviously, they were fleeing someone (poachers) or something to risk flying in the middle of the night. Carlos's bird count this month produced an unusually small number of blue and yellow macaws.
