A.D. Barnes was pretty birdy late in the morning. In just over an hour, I saw 11 warbler species which included:
Orange-crowned Warbler
Northern Parula
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Palm Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Pine Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Ovenbird
...plus Yellow-throated Vireo, Blue-headed Vireo, Painted Bunting, Eastern Phoebe, and Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
Strangest of all was a single Limpkin wandering around inside the main hammock. I believe this is a new bird for the park checklist.
