Great find, Rob! This morning the Marbled Godwit was in the same general location where Rob found it yesterday. It was hanging out with 8 Willets, 15 Ruddy Turnstones and 30 Sanderlings. Six Red-breasted Mergansers swam by right next to the shorebirds.
After paying toll on Rickenbacker Causeway, take the first entrance (south side) to Hobie Beach and drive east. Or, take the second entrance and drive west. Either way, you'll end up near a restroom structure. The birds were feeding and loafing across from the building.
