Saw an adult bald eagle on the "stretch" between Homestead and Key Largo 11/22 at 5:10 pm. It was about 2/3 mile south of County Line Marina on the east side of the road. It was trying to pick up something in the grass between the road and the fence. I saw two attempts and then it flew away. I was trying to look, appreciate, drive, and I didn't see if it caught whatever. A really beautiful bird.
