I was unable to find the Cinnamon Teal yesterday (Sunday) -- probably because of the high winds. But there it was today (Monday) amongst a raft of American Coots and Blue-winged Teals. I was able to get some photos and videos.
I would like to comment on the directions that have been posted here and elsewhere:
There are two 'trails' at Green Cay, both sharing a common segment (like a sideways figure eight). You want to walk straight out (east) from the Visitors' Center through the Alligator Pond -- neither left nor right. That segment ends at the T-junction where the shorter, southern, right-hand loop and the longer, northern, left-hand loop meet. The Cinnamon Teal has been hanging out in the area straight ahead or a little to the left of the junction (further east) from the T-junction (though it can easily move around).
