One of the two Vermilion Flycatchers reported at the C-111 canal site was present yesterday (Nov. 20) around noon. This brilliant male was perched on the 20 MPH speed sign on the north side of the road. Judging from the droppings on the sign, this is a favorite spot for the bird. We'll try to pick him up for the group at next Saturday's TAS Beginning Birding field trip.
