After several failed attempts I sighted two burrowing owls at the tamiami airport. They were inside the Miami-Dade Fire rescue field on the ground by the orange cone. This field is fenced in on the right hand side shortly after the entrance you will notice the big fire rescue sign on the top of the building. The owls were sighted today around 5:20pm.
