I saw 4 Greater Flamingos from the end of Mosquito Bight Trail (Snake
Bight). Two were about 50 yards from the end of the boardwalk and two
were about three quarters of a mile out. Other birds seen were:
Gull-billed Tern
American Avocet
Caspian Tern
Royal Tern
Roseate Spoonbill
Short-billed Dowitcher
Black-bellied Plover
Reddish Egret
American White Pelican
Look for American Crocodiles at the marina in Flamingo. Sometimes there
are up to five here.
