Early this morning headed for my Florida 1st Vermilion Flycatcher. I started at the C111E Canal thinking that was the location. Fortunately some birders stopped by and were nice enough to let me know that I was at the wrong canal, and I headed to the C111 Canal, about a mile down. There I was able to get good views of the 2 reported Vermilions. Afterwards I headed to Lucky Hammock/Annex. Some highlights at C111 and Lucky Hammock were

N. Harrier
Red-shouldered Hawk
Kestrel
Common Ground-Doves
RT Hummingbird
Eastern Phoebes (many)
American Crow
a solitary Cave Swallow
House Wren
BG Gnatcatcher
Gray Catbirds
Palm Warbler
C. Yellowthroat
Savannah Sparrow
Painted Bunting
Brown-headed Cowbirds

Made a quick stop at Cutler Wetlands. Highlights: Coots (many), Roseate Spoonbills, Wood Stork, Avocets, Greater Yellowlegs.

Sadowski was quiet but did add a dark Short-tailed Hawk.

Before getting home I stopped by Indian Hammocks and added White-crowned Pigeon, Black-and-white Warbler and my FOS Blue-headed Vireo.
