Please id my latest backyard bird

Hi all, I have a new bird at my feeder, with a kind of dark blue or purple head, red chest from the front all the way to the tail and a touch of bright green on the sides of his wings, he shares the feed with the house sparrows. He is about their same shape, kind of slimmer though, I've never seen him here before. Not a painted bunting, I have seen those here but this has similar markings, can someone please help, my bird ID book did not help me. Also, does anyone know of a site where I can look up birds by color, shapes, etc? Thanks !
