Boy, I just missed you. I was there between 7:45 & 8:15. In fact, I may have seen you as I was leaving heading south on 60th you were heading north slowly (probably checking for the address)

I saw the bird this morning first in the Bauhinea then in the canopy of the Gumbo limbo selectively checking and feeding on the fruit.


Where to look:
As you walk in the gate (you are facing west), check the firebush on your right next to the house. Look straight up, checking the canopy of the first gumbo. Check the firebush just past the first gumbo. looking right from the firebush check the canopy of the tallest gumbo (towards the center of the yard). It's canopy blends in with a very large leafy tree (bauhinea) just right or further north of the gumbos. overhanging the shed. Look and listen for the distinctive high pitched buzz call. Good luck.
