Hi Steve,

I agree with what you said, and that this was a short and apparently very local fallout at the Cape. Some days birds seem to be landing in waves all day long and the numbers and/or diversity build up all day. Today it seemed like there was the morning action and then very few birds (maybe a few flocks of yellowrumps)coming in the rest of the day (I was there until almost 4PM.) The morning birds either settled into the hammocks, hiding from the wind, or dispersed out of the park, I suppose. Probably roaming around looking for that ficus with maximum ripe fruit; yummy stuff!
