While birding my place this morning I picked up the following usual birds:
Black Vultures 4
Northern Cardinals 2
Gray Catbirds 2
House Wren 1
American Redstarts 2
Blue-grey Gnatcatchers 3
Northern Parula 1
Black-throated Blue Warblers 2
Painted Buntings 5
Indigo Buntings 7
It was very windy (20-25 from NE), Overcast, temp. 78 deg., humid.
First time yard bird was a Magnificent Frigatebird flyover. I don't think I've see one so far inland. My place is about 12 miles from Biscayne Bay and about the same from Florida Bay (as the Frigatebird flies). It was heading northeast, into the wind, maybe 300-400' high.
