Was at the Refuge for non-birding reasons at 8am this morning. The cypress swamp was very birdy. Staff reported many warbler species and yb cuckoo. I caught brief glimpses of ovenbird, hooded warbler, pine, prairie, redstart, palm, bt blue. Plenty of catbirds and gnatchatchers.
I wish I had arrived an hour earlier!
